Overview
Delivery Practice Manager, Associate to Consultant (A2C) Pro Serve Shared Delivery (SDT) – Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to lead the Associate to Consultant (A2C) Pro Serve Shared Delivery Team (SDT) and support AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You will manage a team of Pro Serve Delivery Consultants and engage with customers, partners, and internal AWS teams to define business outcomes and deliver value.
Responsibilities- Build and manage a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants.
- Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and advise on new features.
- Develop and oversee innovative IT strategies for customers and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of engagements.
- Manage the practice P&L, drive business development, and exceed customer satisfaction targets.
- Coordinate with AWS teams to accelerate hiring, onboarding, development, and insights into early-in-career program delivery.
- Drive technical and soft-skill training to accelerate consultant development.
- Identify engagement staffing opportunities and optimize team utilization in partnership with Business Unit stakeholders.
You will lead and grow the A2C SDT, elevating technical execution and delivery of early-in-career Associate Consultants across infrastructure, application development, Dev Ops, data, and security. Manage approximately 10–20 Associate Consultants. This role requires on-site presence at AWS offices or customer locations for a minimum of 5 days per week; remote work is not available. Travel may be required to AWS facilities and customer sites domestically and internationally.

AWS Professional Services helps customers realize business outcomes using the AWS Cloud, often in collaboration with the AWS Partner Network (APN). We provide guidance through offerings across enterprise cloud adoption and multiple global specialty practices.
Basic Qualifications- 8+ years in IT and/or Management Consulting, with at least 3 years in a people leadership role.
- Experience managing IT transformation projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and staffing consultants or other customer-facing professionals.
- Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops Engineer Professional).
- Strong project management and resource management capabilities.
- Financial acumen with P&L management experience.
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and drive change.
- Sales and negotiation skills for opportunity capture and proposal development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain C-level client relationships.
