We are seeking an IT Specialist to support our ASN (RD&A) team at the Pentagon supporting the Assistant Secretary of the Navy. The position is 100% onsite.

• Provide full Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) Continuity of Service Contract (COSC) support to all ASN (RD&A) personnel, including direct desk‑side and administrative support activities related to workstation, printer, wireless and any other approved information technology requirements. Provide support during the development, implementation, and steady state of NMCI, COSC and NGEN contracts.
• Coordinate information technology support to all ASN (RD&A) personnel with other information technology support organizations, including the NMCI and DON/AA help desks. Manage, track and submit service desk trouble tickets to NMCI COSC Field Services and Service Request Management Teams via SM7. Escalate and resolve NMCI COSC user impacting issues by working with the Lead Contract Technical Representative (CTR) and the NMCI and NGEN Site Delivery Teams.
• Manage NMCI COSC service requests and invoices through the use of enterprise tool sets such as NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET), SREFORMS and eMarketplace. Manage user‑to‑service associations via the NMCI COSC enterprise management tool. Validate and process NMCI COSC service and MAC (Move, Add and Changes) requests using NET and SREFORMs.
• Provide service requestors with NMCI COSC contract‑related technical assistance to ensure the most cost‑effective IT solutions are being ordered. Ensure monthly invoices for delivered NMCI COSC services are reviewed for accuracy and processed within established enterprise timelines.
• Act as the focal point for command input concerning NMCI COSC and NGEN requirements, ordering, funding, invoicing and contractor performances. Maintain a thorough understanding of the NMCI COSC and follow‑on NGEN contracts and provide representation in discussions regarding CLIN clarification and interpretation.
• Coordinate and support technology refresh events and issuance including computing assets, mobile devices, software installations, Mobi Keys, and authorized portable electronic storage devices.
• Liaise with NMCI on behalf of ASN (RD&A) senior staff and VIPs, ensuring accurate trouble ticket status and expedited ticket resolution through to completion.
• Provide support for all information technology conferencing requirements for ASN (RD&A) personnel, ensuring communication reliability for ASN (RD&A) staff. Provide Video Teleconferencing (VTC) training to staff as required to ensure proper backup is available for scheduled VTC events.

• Provide personnel knowledgeable, skilled in and ready to provide service and support for current and future requirements related to standard hardware, software, network, web, and e‑mail systems used by the ASN (RD&A) personnel.
• Support efforts to maintain response flexibility with highly skilled and able staff, and to provide surge and temporary backfill support for day‑to‑day technology requirements.

Skills and qualifications required.

• Five years of NMCI Enterprise Tool (NET) experience
• Significant Help Desk ticket experience
• Desk‑side and administrative IT support (workstation, printer, wireless, etc.)
• Experience with tech refreshes
• Training experience
• SharePoint experience
• Must have active DOD Secret Clearance and able to maintain it
