Aboutthe Opportunity
DMI, LLC seeks a Microsoft 365 First Release Support Analyst to support a government client’s controlled rollout of new Microsoft 365 features. This role focuses on validating, coordinating, and supporting early access Microsoft 365 functionality in a highly regulated environment. This is not a help desk role and does not involve software development. The position supports Microsoft 365 First Release capabilities and works closely with security, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Manage Microsoft 365 “First Release” preview features within the client’s environment.
- Enable, test, and validate new Microsoft 365 features before broad release.
- Coordinate with security, compliance, and IT teams to assess impact and risk.
- Track Microsoft 365 release updates and feature changes.
- Document testing results, findings, and recommendations.
- Support client users and internal teams during pilot feature releases.
- Disable or roll back features if issues or risks are identified.
- Ensure activities align with client security and compliance requirements.
Education and Years of Experience
- Degree:
Preferred, not required. - Experience:
3–5 years supporting Microsoft 365 in an enterprise IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Government or regulated-industry background.
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 services and the feature release lifecycle.
- Experience working in regulated or security-focused environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Ability to troubleshoot and assess issues related to new Microsoft 365 features.
Additional Requirements Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
Minimum Citizenship Status Required Must be a U.S. Citizen.
