NODAL Newtwork Systems Operator- Maintainer

Enlist as a soldier into the United States Army and become a Nodal Network Systems Operator-Maintainer who supervises, installs, operates, and performs field-level maintenance on electronic communications equipment to make sure that the lines of communication are always up and running. You will work on internet protocol bases, high-speed electronic communications systems, and network communication systems. This is NOT a civilian contractor position.

No experience necessary. Position is entry level.

• Supervise, install, operate and perform field level maintenance on IP based high speed electronic nodal systems; integrated network control centers; network management facilities; associated multiplexing and transit cased subscriber interface equipment;
  Communications Security (COMSEC) devices; and other equipment associated with network nodal operations.
• Perform network management functions in support of maintaining, troubleshooting and reengineering of nodal assets as needed in support of operational requirements.

• 10 weeks of Basic Training.
• 18 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

• Between 17-34 years old.
• No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
• Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
