Job Description: Govini is looking for motivated, curious, and data‑driven individuals to join our team as Senior Implementation Engineer. The role requires a quantitative mindset and a firm understanding of how to use technology and data to solve hard customer problems. Responsibilities include developing new methodologies to answer client questions, leveraging the quantitative skills to configure Govini’s technology, communicating data‑driven insights to executives in the national security community, and overseeing cross‑functional teams to produce compelling program insights, data visualizations, and briefings.

Understanding of U.S. Government and Defense acquisition processes is essential, as is the ability to ask hard, uncomfortable questions and lead conversations with top government agency officials.

Location: Full‑time position located in Arlington, VA. Requires 75% travel to client sites across the United States (CONUS and OCONUS).

• Develop expertise in Govini’s clients, offerings, and data; support customers as a Govini product and data expert.
• Execute the successful implementation of software and data, providing platform training.
• Use coding languages (SQL, Python) to conduct technical platform configuration and data integration.
• Build and manage client relationships.
• Lead execution teams and/or work streams.
• Collaborate with Govini Engagement Managers and Product Managers to capture market demand and user needs for inclusion into Govini’s offerings.
• Proactively drive product utilization with targeted training and engagement strategies to achieve mission outcomes and analytical insights for platform users.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as tailored user guide reference materials.
• Conduct research and develop quantitative analytic reports using Govini technology and data.
• Orally and visually present data‑driven findings concisely to internal teams and government officials.
• Demonstrate knowledge in areas such as U.S. Government programs and operations, federal acquisitions and program management, procurement practices, supplier assurance, PPBE, Supply Chain Risk Management, and OSINT analysis.

• Provide technical workflow development and configuration.
• Communicate data‑driven insights to executives in the national security space.
• Conduct in‑depth quantitative and qualitative analyses on problems of importance to the U.S. national security community using data visualization, written papers, and briefings.
• Provide product demonstrations in support of sales pursuits.
• Mentor team members to increase skill and domain expertise.

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Security, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar field, or 3–7 years of equivalent experience.

• Strong familiarity/skills with SQL, Python, and/or R; familiarity with Excel, React, Typescript, Java, C, GoLang.
• 3–7 years of experience performing national security‑related analytics, with a preference for research, quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of defense acquisition life cycle, program management, technology scouting, and supply chain risk management.
