• Able to properly respond, acknowledge, investigate, and dispatch critical alarms

The Facility Operations Center (FOC) serves as the centralized 24/7 remote monitoring center for AWS data center’s critical physical facilities infrastructure systems.

We support availability by assisting internal teams in communicating prompt and accurate alarm and event notifications.

The FOC ensures safety across all AWS data centers by enforcing Change Management policies and is the communication hub during emergency and normal operations.

The Facility Operations Center (FOC) is a singular support team which proactively monitor the life‑safety systems and the infrastructure equipment alarms (e.g., chillers, temperature sensors, generators, UPSs, switch gear, breakers, PDUs, and ATSs) that provides power and cooling to the platform 24x7x365.

We support Data Center Engineer Operations teams who are responsible for the operation of infrastructure equipment. Our role is to ensure that critical alarms are properly Responded to, Acknowledged, Investigated, and Dispatched (RAID). Additionally, the FOC serves as a communications hub during both standard and emergency operations.

• Experience in relevant work
• 3+ years of technical support experience, or Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Experience documenting technical customer issues and 1+ years of customer facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. For salaried roles, your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.

Colorado $75,900 - $132,800 annually

National $68,300 - $152,700 annually
