IT Security Engineer

Job Overview

Zetier seeks an experienced IT Security Engineer to support, manage, and secure our rapidly expanding infrastructure. Candidates will demonstrate experience in maintaining, deploying, and troubleshooting segmented IT systems while focusing on automating infrastructure and streamlining standards‑compliant networks that accelerate complex hardware/software development efforts.

• Practical experience (4+ years) with IT admin (e.g., Linux, Ubiquiti)
• Hands‑on experience with networking (e.g., hubs/routers, firewalls)
• Proficiency in network security (e.g., iptables, OpenVPN, Wireguard)
• Familiarity with modern orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Demonstrated capability to design and deploy scalable IT solutions
• Effective communication with stakeholders and team members
• Active U.S. security clearance
• Served as an ISSM or similar security management role
• Knowledge of NIST, RMF, and other compliance frameworks
• Experience with storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS, cloud storage)
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
• Knowledge of IT monitoring and logging (e.g., Splunk, Nagios)
• Familiarity with scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Power Shell)
• Certifications in relevant IT domains (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS)
• Experience implementing non‑trivial Zero Trust architectures
• Successfully led IT projects and cross‑functional teams
• Understanding of ITIL or other IT service management methodologies
