Business Development Lead for Cyber and Digital Resilience

Join CRDF Global as the Business Development Lead for Cyber and Digital Resilience. In this role you will own the technical and solution strategy for cyber and emerging technology pursuits, integrating capture strategy, program operations, and proposal development.

• Define a clear cyber and emerging technology growth vision, including target customers, mission areas, and differentiated value propositions.
• Lead the execution of a multi‑year portfolio strategy that aligns CRDF’s technical capabilities, partnerships, and market position with donor and international demand.
• Monitor threat trends, technology shifts, and competitive activity to refine strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with program managers, technical leads and delivery teams to inventory and map current services and solutions.
• Validate solution feasibility during capture, refine estimates, and ensure proposed architectures are deliverable.
• Lead direct engagement with new customers and partners to shape requirements and influence customer thinking.
• Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, including program managers and contracting personnel.
• Represent CRDF at conferences, trade shows, donor consultations, and workshops.
• Maintain an integrated view of the pipeline, track opportunities from early shaping through capture and proposal submission.
• Partner with program leaders to review and qualify opportunities, prioritize based on fit and win probability.
• Plan and coordinate solution, capture, and proposal resources, ensuring balance between capture needs and delivery realities.
• Lead opportunity captures, gate reviews, and technical threads in proposals, integrating inputs from program SMEs.

• Proven track record leading federal BD/capture/proposal efforts in cyber and emerging technology fields; knowledge of DoS, DoD and civilian agency acquisition processes.
• Strong skills in requirements analysis, concept development, solution outlining, and producing technical volumes.
• Experience leading front‑end client engagement, discovery sessions, and pre‑RFI/RFP conversations.
• Ability to translate client missions into solution roadmaps and narratives.
• Strong facilitation skills to lead internal workshops and cross‑functional solution teams.
• Familiarity with pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity qualification tools such as Salesforce or Gov Win.
• Ability to plan and coordinate solution and proposal resources, identifying capability gaps.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and ability to present technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in business management, computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience architecting federal solutions in cybersecurity, advanced IT, or emerging technology; experience in international markets preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one preferred.
