Dexian Government Solutions is seeking an Infrastructure Lead for a proposal effort supporting the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Unclassified Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) program in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Position Overview

The Infrastructure Lead will provide technical leadership and operational oversight for the enterprise IT infrastructure supporting the F-35 JPO's unclassified environment. This role will oversee server, virtualization, storage, network, and supporting infrastructure services to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations. The Infrastructure Lead will coordinate technical personnel, manage infrastructure priorities, and work closely with government stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, and service desk personnel to support mission requirements.

Job Duties

  • Lead daily infrastructure operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and service restoration activities.
  • Oversee the administration and sustainment of enterprise servers, operating systems, virtualization platforms, storage, and supporting network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate infrastructure personnel, assign priorities, monitor performance, and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, and performance; identify risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and technology refresh activities through established change management processes.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to address vulnerabilities, implement security configurations, and support remediation requirements.
  • Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and continuity activities, including testing and maintenance of recovery procedures.
  • Lead root cause analysis for infrastructure incidents and recurring problems; document findings and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain infrastructure diagrams, configuration records, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Support infrastructure planning, system integration, modernization, and evaluation of proposed technical solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and support equipment maintenance.
  • Provide operational status reports, performance metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations to program leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Coordinate infrastructure dependencies with service desk, application, asset management, and other technical teams.
  • Support planned maintenance windows and incident response activities outside normal business hours when required.
  • Evaluate technical personnel's work and ensure the quality of infrastructure services delivered.
  • Incorporate long-term system operations and administration requirements into enterprise information systems planning.
  • Perform site surveys, architecture design, systems evaluation and analysis, and infrastructure assessments to support integration and modernization.
  • Lead planning, analysis, integration, testing, and acceptance of complex infrastructure solutions; prepare technical reports and deliver briefings to government stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • Required bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 10 years of relevant experience with a master's degree; a bachelor's degree remains required.
  • Senior-level experience directing system administration personnel, assigning projects, evaluating work, and incorporating long-term operations and administration requirements into organizational IT planning.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the integrity of system software, and implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Demonstrated experience administering and supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with server operating systems, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, and enterprise networking.
  • Experience leading technical teams or coordinating infrastructure operations and maintenance activities.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, configuration management, and change management practices.
