Kent, Campa and Kate Incorporated (KCK) is a federal contracting company that provides professional services to Government Agencies. We are currently seeking candidates for Educational Technology Advisor position for an administrative and training program support contract at the National Foreign Affairs Training Center (NFATC), formerly referred to as the Foreign Service Institute (FSI).
Salary: $95,000
RequirementsExperience Requirement: Minimum of 10 years of experience advising on and integrating educational technologies into training design and delivery at the course, curriculum, division, school, and/or institutional level.
Education Requirement: Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
Proficiency in Knowledge Management (KM) systems administration (e.g., SharePoint) and Learning Management System (LMS) administration (e.g., Cornerstone OnDemand, Blackboard).
Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and instructional design incorporating educational technology, including the development of lesson plans, learning objectives, and technology-enhanced learning activities across multiple training contexts, such as foreign affairs, tradecraft, foreign language, and IT/applications training.
Experience designing and supporting in‑person, blended, synchronous, asynchronous, and virtual learning, including webinars and virtual instructor‑led training, and addressing instructional challenges associated with virtual delivery.
Experience advising, coaching, and training instructors and staff on educational technologies, including assessing technology needs, evaluating hardware and software solutions, supporting technology adoption, and integrating new technologies into curricula.
Ability to research, assess, and implement emerging educational technologies and innovative instructional practices as organizational needs and technologies evolve.
Knowledge of evaluation design and quantitative and qualitative data analysis to assess the effectiveness and long‑term impact of educational technology integration.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both collaboratively and in leadership roles, explain complex educational technology concepts to non-technical audiences, and provide responsive customer service to clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Applicant must currently be authorized to work in the United Stateson a full‑time basis and possess US Citizenship.
Assists with sharing, disseminating and aligning information and processes within instructional divisions;
Provides support for Divisions to ensure available technology meets mission needs;
Evaluates new software products, services, and procedures to determine their suitability for use within the School.
Identifies new technologies to support instruction. Trains and supports instructional staff on educational software and hardware;
Communicates with divisions to assess hardware and software requirements and tracks subscription renewal dates, costs, and software licenses;
Collects software, hardware, and maintenance requests along with costs from functional and instructional divisions to support budget submissions and purchase requests;
Submits and tracks requests to the NFATC Change Control Board (CCB) for software onOpenNet.
Communicates status updates to stakeholders;
Creates, updates, and maintains a repository of SOPs, processes, and best practices.
Collaborates with Audio-Visual (A/V) team to provide webinars, video production, sound production, and other A/V services to School staff and students;
