The United States Space Force (USSF) at the Pentagon is searching for a Division Chief for Information Warfare and Mobility Requirements to support S5R (NH-0343-04, GS 14/15 equivalent).
Description:
Serve as Division Chief for Information Warfare and Mobility within the HQ Space Force Operational Capability Requirements Directorate (S5R).
You will lead C4
Cyber and Logistics requirements development driving capability development for the Joint Warfighter from inception to acquisition for the entire Space Force and often the DoD. A dynamic work environment in which you will collaborate and confer with all levels of the enterprise- from Deltas to OSD entities. Presents opportunity to serve as supervisor, leader, mentor, and technical expert.
Ideal Candidate:
Division Chief requires leadership ability to represent service at O-6 and GOFO forums. Calm under pressure, ability to multitask, self-starter and high level of initiative. Lead/supervise diverse teams.
Attention to Detail, Flexibility, Integrity/Honesty, Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Reasoning, Self-Management, Stress Tolerance, Collaborator, Consensus Builder, and Team Oriented Focus; with ability to apply all vertically and horizontally within the organization and with all stakeholders. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with planning processes, critical analysis, and the application and integration of external and internal organizational processes.
2-5 years of proven leadership in supervisory positions at the division, directorate, squadron and/or group levels.
Experience with space operations and program management desired; C4
Cyber experience desired; knowledge of requirements development highly desired.
This position is with Office of Chief of Space Operations, Department of the Air Force.
What is the salary for this position?The posted pay range is $143913 – $197200/yr.
