The work:

We are seeking an Azure Infrastructure & Dev Ops Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role combines Azure architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Dev Ops automation, and security remediation. You will work closely with development and operations teams to modernize infrastructure, strengthen security posture, and support key migration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure, including compute, network, and storage services.
• Modernize the infrastructure repository by bringing unmanaged Azure resources into source control and refactoring IaC (primarily Power Shell).
• Automate deployments and operational workflows using Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting.
• Analyze and remediate Azure scan findings, focusing on critical and high-priority issues to meet security and compliance standards.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and provide guidance on Azure best practices.

Here’s what you need:

• Bachelor’s degree required plus 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, Dev Ops, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong proficiency with Azure services, automation, and IaC (Power Shell, ARM, Terraform or Ansible a plus).
• Experience with cloud security remediation, compliance, and governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Active Top Secret clearance and willing to work onsite in Washington, DC.

Bonus points if you have:

• Microsoft Azure certifications (Architect, Administrator, Dev Ops Engineer) or AWS certifications.
• Experience with hybrid cloud, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and advanced networking.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia
. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
