A growing cybersecurity startup in Arlington, VA is hiring a Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer. Their AI-infused SaaS platform is proactive, not just reactive, in it's ability to identify possible threats - working with teams in real-time to plan for, mitigate, and secure against threat actors. Their platform is used to secure both public and private sector customers alike.
They are seeking a Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer to help build and scale a secure, modern cloud infrastructure in a high-growth environment. This role will own and advance CI/CD, infrastructure automation, Kubernetes, security, observability, and disaster recovery, while providing technical leadership and mentoring across the Dev Ops team. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Azure and AKS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and secure network architecture, along with the ability to make sound architectural decisions and work effectively across teams.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of Dev Ops or related experience with a strong focus on automation and infrastructure as code
- Expert-level experience with Azure and AKS
- Strong Terraform and Kubernetes experience
- Experience with ArgoCD and Kustomize
- Experience designing secure networks and implementing Zero Trust principles
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and branch-based environments
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk
- Strong Linux/Unix and networking fundamentals
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance required
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Desired Skills
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment
- Experience designing disaster recovery or business continuity solutions
- Experience working with NIST SP 800-171 or similar security frameworks
- Active or prior security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with disaster response, emergency management, or public safety technology
