The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work directly with customers to design, evangelize, implement, and scale AI/ML solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success through their AI transformation journey, providing deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customers’ needs, including selecting and fine‑tuning appropriate models.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that solve real‑world business problems, conduct experiments, and optimize performance at scale.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high‑value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and propose effective implementation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance on responsibly and cost‑efficiently applying AI, machine learning, and generative AI, troubleshooting throughout project delivery and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on the latest advancements in AI/ML and emerging technologies, and advise on leveraging diverse data sources for maximum business impact.
• Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, creating reusable AI/ML artifacts, and evaluating new technologies.

• 2+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning / statistical modeling and data analysis skills.
• Experience in professional software engineering and best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI.
• Experience defining and creating benchmarks for assessing GenAI model performance.

• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
• Experience applying quantitative analysis to solve business problems and working on multi‑team, cross‑disciplinary projects.
• Experience translating complex technical solutions and data‑driven insights into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
