The IT Cybersecurity Compliance Technical Associate will support cybersecurity compliance efforts, including risk assessment and control review activities. This role also contributes to audit readiness by gathering evidence and supporting scalable governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) workflows as programs expand.
Location and Employment DetailsLocation: Arlington, VA (onsite)
Job Family: IT Cyber Security
Travel: Up to 10%
Clearance: None required
Compensation: USD 56,000 - 94,000 per yearly
EducationBachelor’s degree required, graduating between December 2026 – June 2027

- Support risk assessment and risk analysis tasks
- Assist with control reviews and other compliance activities
- Gather and organize audit evidence and related documentation
- Coordinate escalations and support requests during U.S. business hours
- Help maintain consistent, scalable GRC workflows as programs grow
- Bachelor’s degree, graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
- Strong document writing skills
- High attention to detail
- Experience managing projects through completion
- Experience working in the Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) space
- Experience performing risk assessments or risk analysis
- Experience with compliance frameworks and standards such as NIST
, ISO
, ITGC
, HIPAA
, and UK Cyber Essentials - Exposure working with policies and procedures
- Experience working in cross-functional or distributed teams
