Paralegal Supervisor

The Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Arlington County and the City of Falls Church is seeking a Paralegal Supervisor to lead and oversee a team of Paralegal I and Paralegal II professionals while managing the daily operations of the paralegal unit. This position plays a key role in promoting operational efficiency, maintaining service standards, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• - High School Diploma or equivalent; and
• - Progressively responsible paralegal experience in a legal environment, including experience coordinating legal support functions and supervising or leading staff.

Professional License/Certifications – Completion of a paralegal program recognized by the American Bar Association.

Substitution:
Additional education may be substituted for experience

Desirables:
Preference may be given to applicants with experience in a prosecutor’s office, criminal justice agency, or closely related setting.

Background Check: A pre-employment criminal records check will be conducted. It may include checks of the following: criminal record, driving record, education, professional licensure, and credit history. You may be required to sign a release authorizing the County to obtain your background information.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, flexible schedule with limited telework opportunities and flexibility for occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.

Compensation:
The full salary range for this role is $87,318.40 - $ annually and offers will depend on experience.
