About Spirit of America

Spirit of America (SOA) is a privately-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. We have pioneered a new model for America's engagement in the world. Our model combines private philanthropy, citizen service, and entrepreneurship with the service of America's troops and diplomats. We work alongside US troops and diplomats and provide private assistance in support of their missions. We help them strengthen security, defend freedom, and save and improve lives by filling the gaps between what is needed and what government can do.

Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General (Ret.) Joseph Dunford says, "Spirit of America represents a new capability - not just another nonprofit. It is important to our country's future."
