Apogee Solutions is seeking a Logistics and Sustainment Analyst to support the United States Air Force’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Training and Readiness at the Pentagon. Qualified candidates must have a Secret clearance.
The Logistics and Sustainment Analyst conducts analysis of Air Force logistics, maintenance, supply, facilities, and infrastructure issues. The Training and Readiness Directorate is the Air Staff’s focal point to assist, orchestrate, and implement readiness analysis actions for current and future operations across the Air Force, to include weapons system sustainment, operational training infrastructure, critical skills personnel shortages, flying hour analysis, and deployment ratios.
Responsibilities- Perform a variety of logistics, maintenance, supply, facilities, and infrastructure analytic functions involving the formulation, execution, and analysis of capabilities, capacity, and risk for substantive programs and support activities.
- Provide support for operations research assignments to include the analysis of logistics, maintenance, supply, facilities, infrastructure program costs, force structure, and manpower support.
- Assist in resource allocation to execute tasks in accordance with the POM schedule.
- Conduct detailed research and analyses to assist in development and support of implementation plans, executive reports, and existing reports and projects.
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Bachelors Degree in logistics, maintenance, supply facilities, infrastructure, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience that includes research and analysis as well as prior military service at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels in the areas of logistics and supply
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, maintenance, supply analytics to include capabilities, capacities, force structure and POM, acquisition, and program management
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Air Staff or an equivalent strategic level staff
- Working knowledge of operational research assignments to include analysis of logistics, maintenance, supply, facilities, infrastructure program costs, force structure, and manpower support
