Position: Outside Plant Technician with Security Clearance
Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES
* Maintain, coordinate, and manage installation of JSP offered services for all outside plant infrastructure.
* Provide daily updates on OSP activities and coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders.
* Read and develop construction-related plans and drawings and interface with commercial vendors and utility officials.
* Process WHS and State/Local Government permits for OSP activities and coordinate Pentagon Reservation access for supporting vendors.
* Provide site surveys and data for projects involving outside plant installations.
* Comply with BICSI and JSP OSP standards and provide monthly records of surveys, permits, tickets closed, and meetings attended.
* Develop, perform, and coordinate tickets for outside plant incidents and provide emergency restoration services upon notification of OSP-related outages.
* Conduct detailed surveys of MHs, HHs, and A-Ring tunnel infrastructure and provide corrective actions as needed.
* Capture and update data related to infrastructure condition, duct fill, and maintenance requirements.
* Develop comprehensive plans for bringing OSP infrastructure into compliance with standards when non-compliance is identified.
* Manage and complete emergency restoration services for OSP infrastructure upon notification of incidents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
