Director of Content (Social Media & Influencer)
We are looking for a culturally connected leader to build solidcore's presence at the intersection of fitness, wellness, and lifestyle. This role will drive our content, social media and influencer engagement as a core brand-building function, integrating content strategy, influencer partnerships, and community engagement to position solidcore as more than a workout – it's a cultural movement.
The ideal candidate knows how to translate cultural moments into compelling brand narratives. You're equally fluent in the mechanics of social platforms and the nuances of what makes content resonate, with your finger on the pulse of emerging trends across Meta, Tik Tok, and beyond.
You'll lead a talented internal influencer & social media team as well as external agency partners, collectively serving as the real-time voice of solidcore, ensuring the brand feels present, relevant, and culturally connected every day.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a social-first content ecosystem, building streamlined capabilities that enable rapid content creation and deployment
- Lead content planning that positions social as the real-time expression of our brand platform and campaigns
- Establish processes for content sourcing across owned channels, creator partnerships, and community-generated moments
- Partner with the internal brand team, cross-functional teams, and external creative partners to ensure social insights inform campaign development and creative briefs
- Collaborate closely with media and performance marketing teams to optimize content for paid channels and drive effectiveness across the funnel
- Create content guidelines and brand standards that maintain consistency while allowing for platform-specific adaptation
- Manage content calendar and ensure strategic alignment across brand moments, activations, and partnerships
- Build and scale a dynamic creator and influencer strategy and ecosystem that authentically connects solidcore to adjacent lifestyle spaces and establishes our role in culture
- Identify, vet, and cultivate relationships with creators who embody brand values and can introduce solidcore to new audiences
- Create and manage long-term brand ambassador programs that drive sustained engagement and organic content generation
- Negotiate partnership terms, manage contracts, and oversee creator deliverables and performance, connecting to a broader measurement approach
- Collaborate with brand partnerships team to identify co-marketing and cross-promotional opportunities with aligned brands
- Develop frameworks for measuring influencer impact that go beyond vanity metrics to assess brand alignment, content quality, and community resonance
- Stay ahead of the creator economy landscape to ensure solidcore remains a sought-after partner for top-tier talent
- Develop and execute platform-specific strategies that maximize organic reach and engagement across Meta, Tik Tok, and emerging platforms
- Lead social listening and intelligence efforts to identify cultural opportunities, track brand sentiment, and surface actionable insights
- Monitor platform evolution including algorithm changes, new features, and emerging formats, ensuring solidcore leverages trends early
- Oversee day-to-day community management and develop engagement strategies that foster authentic dialogue with our community
- Partner with PR to amplify brand moments and manage reactive crisis situations with speed and strategic thinking
- Develop robust measurement frameworks and reporting that demonstrate social's impact on brand health, community growth, and business objectives
