From intimate donor gatherings to large-scale national events, you will play a critical role in creating meaningful experiences that inspire supporters and fuel our work.

This is a full-time position based in our Arlington, Virginia headquarters and reports to the Director of Development.

  • Build detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate staff, volunteers, consultants, and vendors to deliver seamless events.
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems before they impact the attendee experience.
Drive Event Communications and Promotion
  • Partner with the Communications team to develop invitations, event websites, registration pages, agendas, presentations, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all event communications align with SBA's brand, voice, and messaging.
Measure Success and Strengthen Future Events
  • Track event performance, attendance, fundraising results, and engagement metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within donor databases and event management systems.
  • Lead post-event follow‑up, including donor acknowledgments, pledge fulfillment, invoice processing, and event evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve future events and enhance donor engagement.
