The quality of care at MiVU is defined by specialized expertise; you will focus entirely on detailed diagnostics, including echocardiography, abdominal ultrasound, and interventional procedures like Fine‑needle and Tru‑cut biopsies. - Assist sonographers with the safe transport and setup of ultrasound equipment in veterinary hospitals.
- Drive company or personal vehicles to and from job sites.
- Provide patient restraint and support during ultrasound exams.
- Monitor communication with our scheduling office and help manage daily schedules.
- Take on various tasks to lighten the sonographer’s workload and enhance team efficiency.
- Interest in diagnostic imaging and veterinary medicine (no prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided).
- High moral character and strong work ethic.
- 3+ years of driving experience with a good driving record.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Must be flexible with schedule; return times may vary based on daily workload.
- Punctual, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
- Cooperative, patient, and positive attitude; able to work well with animals and people.
- Physically able to lift and assist with animals when needed.
- Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant in a small‑animal hospital setting preferred, not required.
