Research Analyst
Location:
100% On-Site – Arlington, VA
Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required
Position SummaryRPI Group seeks a Research Analyst to join our growing team in Washington, D.C. supporting an influential, high-energy Navy customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical analysis and assessment, with highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities- Produce written reports, project plans, briefings and staffing packages
- Prepare study questions, perform analysis, and present findings to leadership
- Coordinate meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Organize and lead small group projects or studies
- Be able to work independently and within a team
- Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years hand’s‑on experience
- Strong analytic and writing skills, with experience briefing senior leaders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Master’s degree in relevant program of study
- Experience at US Navy or Marine Corps Major Command staff level, Combatant Command staff, Joint Staff, Office of Secretary of War staff, or similar level Department of War or national security staff
- Experience staffing decisions for major acquisition programs or technical projects
- Expertise with electronic database searching and data analytics
- Knowledge of S&T and research and development (R&D) portfolios
- Knowledge of US Navy programming, requirements, and/or acquisition processes
