Mid-Level Research Analyst with Security Clearance

Location: 100% On-Site – Arlington, VA
Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required

The RPI Group seeks a Research Analyst to join our growing team in Washington, D.C. supporting an influential, high‑energy Navy customer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical analysis and assessment, with highly effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Produce written reports, project plans, briefings, and staffing packages
• Prepare study questions, perform analysis, and present findings to leadership
• Coordinate meetings with multiple stakeholders
• Organize and lead small group projects or studies
• Work independently and within a team

• Active Top‑Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of hands‑on experience
• Strong analytic and writing skills, with experience briefing senior leaders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Master’s degree in a relevant program of study
• Experience at US Navy or Marine Corps Major Command staff level, Combatant Command staff, Joint Staff, Office of Secretary of the Navy staff, or similar national security staff
• Experience staffing decisions for major acquisition programs or technical projects
• Expertise with electronic database searching and data analytics
• Knowledge of S&T and R&D portfolios
• Knowledge of US Navy programming, requirements, and/or acquisition processes
