Food Runner

Food Runner role at Nando's PERi-PERi North America is a customer-facing position that helps ensure timely food delivery from kitchen to guest tables, announces dishes to guests, and supports table maintenance and side duties to deliver the Nando's experience.

• Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table and announce the food to the guest
• Ensure the food reaches the correct guest in a timely manner
• Assist with cleaning, setting, and re-setting tables; manage station, tables and side duties
• Work with the team to exceed guests' expectations and deliver the Nando's experience

• Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
• Knowledge and comprehension of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
• Basic English language and professional communication skills are required

• Able to independently lift up to 15 lbs for an extended period
• Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs with food items and dishes throughout your shift
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Hand-eye coordination
• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping
• Pushing and Pulling
• Lifting overhead
• Must be able to climb stairs in restaurants that have multiple levels
