Overview
Security Officer IV at Arlo Solutions. Primary security professional responsible for comprehensive security support for the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). Manages personnel, physical, operations, and information security domains to safeguard highly sensitive information related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and other sensitive national security matters.

Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive security support for AARO’s facility and organization, ensuring compliance with DoD security directives and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and oversee security programs, policies, and procedures across personnel, physical, operations, and information security domains.
- Serve as the primary security point of contact for AARO, coordinating with OUSW(I&S) security offices and other relevant security organizations.
- Process security nomination packages for AARO personnel, ensuring timely submission and proper documentation.
- Coordinate with Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA) on personnel clearance matters.
- Monitor and track clearance status for all AARO personnel and contractors.
- Ensure all contractor personnel maintain required Top Secret clearances with SCI eligibility and SAP access.
- Implement and enforce physical security measures to protect AARO facilities, equipment, and sensitive information.
- Establish key control procedures and maintain accountability for all keys and key cards issued to personnel.
- Maintain proper safeguarding of all Government equipment, information, and property.
- Develop and implement lock combination management procedures.
- Oversee the protection of classified and sensitive information, including SCI and SAP materials.
- Ensure proper marking, handling, storage, and transmission of classified information.
- Coordinate security requirements for IT systems and networks handling classified information.
- Implement procedures to prevent unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information.
- Develop and deliver security indoctrination briefings and debriefings to AARO personnel and contractors.
- Conduct periodic security awareness training to maintain vigilance and compliance.
- Advise AARO leadership on security best practices and emerging threats.
- Review DD254 (Contract Security Classification Specification) documents as part of the industrial security program.
- Coordinate security requirements with contractors supporting AARO missions.
- Ensure contractor compliance with security requirements and procedures.
- Maintain required security documentation in accordance with DoD regulations and directives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security publications including DoD Manual 5205.07, DoD Manual 5105.21, and other relevant directives.
- Coordinate with Special Access Program Central Office and Special Security Office as needed.
- Participate in security inspections and implement corrective actions as required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in positions related to security.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel, physical, operations, and information security management.
- Experience working with highly classified programs and handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity with DoD security directives, regulations, and procedures.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with current Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Certification Program credentials such as:
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
- Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC)
- Security Program Integration Professional Certification (SPIPC)
- Special Program Security Certification (SPSC)
- Industrial Security Oversight Certification (ISOC)
- Physical Security Certification (PSC)
- Adjudicator Professional Certification (APC)
- Due Process Adjudicator Professional Credential (DPAPC)
