Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol Full-Time

Allied Universal® is looking for a Security Officer in Arlington, VA to serve and safeguard clients in various commercial real estate locations. The role includes routine patrols, incident response, and customer service.

The Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, remain highly visible to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. The officer responds to situations as they arise, supports a welcoming environment, and upholds the company's security standards.

• Provide customer service and carry out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter activity.
• Observe and report unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with team members and client contacts to address concerns.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents.
• Remain alert and follow post orders and site instructions.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required.

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• CPR certification preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
