• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity or access.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and/or client representatives to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by the site.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures to help deter potential security-related risks.

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
