As a Security Officer – Commercial Patrol Security Clearance in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security‑related incidents while offering a visible and reassuring presence.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients, following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns to the appropriate personnel as required.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established protocols specific to the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized access and/or violations of site rules.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site representatives regarding security‑related matters.

• Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available

• Must have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
