Your presence will help to deter security‑related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and support a welcoming atmosphere, all while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business location and its perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions based on the site.
• Observe for potential security‑related concerns and report any unusual activity or incidents as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as part of daily interactions.
• Document and report all activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
