Security Representative

Purpose & Scope:

• Screen all patients, visitors, contractors, vendors, employees, and other persons arriving to VHC‑owned or leased facilities for security and/or health & safety reasons.
• Control access to the facility or assigned area using established security or infection‑prevention protocols and policies.
• Use screening equipment, including visitor check‑in kiosks, computers, cameras, weapons detection systems, and health screening systems.
• Maintain positive public relations by providing excellent customer service to those entering and exiting the facility.
• Provide additional support to Security and/or Parking Departments, such as vehicle traffic direction and enforcement of parking policies around facility entrances and fire lanes.

• High School Diploma required.
• One year of Customer Service experience required.
• No certification/licensure required.
• Self‑confidence to restrict or deny access to unapproved or non‑compliant individuals.
• Personal responsibility to escalate and communicate issues and concerns to facility leadership.
• Leadership experience required.
• Multilingual preferred.
