** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies when needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with attention to the unique needs of an aerospace and defense location.

+ Observe and report any suspicious, unusual, or prohibited activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

+ Operate and monitor access control systems, checking credentials and verifying identity as required for the location.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established escalation procedures.

+ Complete detailed and accurate written reports of incidents, activities, and observations during each shift.

+ Adhere to all armed post protocols, maintaining control of assigned equipment and following all applicable regulations and guidelines.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.

+ Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

+ Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

+ Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
