Job Summary
Engineer/HVAC Mechanic (FDIC) – Arlington, VA
EMCOR Government Services offers a single-source solution for government organizations, combining expert technicians, commercial best practices, and extensive facilities knowledge to deliver high-performance facilities and on-time projects.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct routine and ongoing assessment of building systems operations.
- Perform tests, tours, and analyze data to assure proper operation of building machinery.
- Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance on building equipment, machinery, and components located in the interior or exterior of the building.
- Must possess a current CFC Universal License.
- 3–6 years’ experience as a Building Engineer in a commercial environment.
- EMS experience.
- Ability to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and safely.
- Self‑starter and willingness to adhere to company policies.
- Requires abundant walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
