ResponsibilitiesThe selected candidate will work as an Electrical Service / UPS installation systems Technician for M.C. Dean’s Service & National Accounts Group. This group operates 24/7 - 365 to support our customers and is known for providing the best customer experience. We offer world-class support and training, fostering a family-oriented culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, and safety.
This regional service position requires regular travel across the United States. You will be responsible for electrical installations, including UPS systems servicing basic electrical equipment and systems, following all applicable plans, specifications, and codes. Your role involves resolving customer electrical problems professionally and safely. Maintaining a professional appearance at all times is expected.
- Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices based on blueprints and building plans.
- Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining EMS systems, smart breakers, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
- Inspecting installation sites and studying work orders, building plans, and manuals to determine materials and procedures.
- Testing electrical systems and circuit continuity with test devices.
- Diagnosing malfunctions using test equipment and hand tools to locate and fix issues.
- Training and directing workers in installing, maintaining, or repairing electrical systems.
- This position requires approximately 60% travel across the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of experience in the electrical service industry, including UPS system installation.
Candidate Expectations:
- Pass a background check and drug test.
- Possess an acceptable driving record, as the role may involve using a company vehicle.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical tools and testing equipment.
- Comfortable using smart devices and web applications.
- Committed to high-quality work and professionalism.
- Wear OSHA-approved safety gear, including pants and shirts covering shoulders.
- Punctuality, teamwork, and safety awareness are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Journeyman's license or equivalent.
- Additional certifications like Lift and Aerial Training, NFPA 70E, OSHA 30, UPS installation.

Physical Abilities:
