Alpha Omega is seeking a skilled and experienced Front-End Developer to join our team and build high-performance, data-driven web applications. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with strong expertise in modern front-end technologies, including Angular, and will have demonstrated experience working with back-end APIs and large-scale data platforms like Databricks. A solid understanding of Git Hub, CI/CD, and Dev Ops practices is essential for this role.

You will play a key role in translating UI/UX designs into seamless, interactive user experiences and ensuring the full software development life cycle is efficient and reliable.

• Front-End Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, modular, and high-performance user interfaces using Angular, Type Script, HTML, and CSS.
• API Communication: Use Node.js knowledge to understand and interact with back-end services and RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless data flow between server and client.
• Version Control: Utilize Git Hub for version control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and code reviews to manage and review clean, reusable code.
• Dev Sec Ops  (CI/CD): Develop the CI/CD pipeline to implement automated builds, testing, and deployments via tools such as Git Hub Actions to ensure efficient and rapid software releases.
• Dev Ops Culture: Own/lead Dev Ops practices, collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve the overall software delivery process.

  Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement engaging visual designs and user experiences.
• Databricks Integration: Collaborate with back-end and data engineering teams to define and consume APIs that deliver data from the Databricks platform to the front-end.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, troubleshooting and debugging front-end issues as they arise.
• Testing and Quality: Write and execute unit tests and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of the user interface.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews on Git Hub and advocate for best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.

Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or similar degree.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Front-End or Full-Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
• Angular Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Angular framework (version 10+), including components, modules, services, routing, and state management (e.g., RxJS, NgRx).

  Familiarity with the Databricks (or similar) platform and its purpose for big data processing, analytics, and AI. Experience connecting front-end applications to data processed and stored within Databricks is required.

• CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Git Hub Actions, for automating software workflows.

• Familiarity with data governance principles within a Data Lakehouse environment.

The likely salary range for this position is $98,000–$130,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
