Platform Engineer - Dark Wolf

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Platform Engineer with experience building and operating hybrid‑infrastructure developer platforms. The engineer will deploy and support Kubernetes, automate platform management at enterprise scale, develop scalable platform APIs, and maintain services that host containerised applications. Effective communication with stakeholders is essential.

• Deploy and maintain critical applications on a cloud‑native architecture.
• Implement secure automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructure as code.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
• Support and collaborate with a cross‑functional engineering team on the latest technologies.
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality and velocity of deployments.
• Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.

• 10+ years experience with Platform Engineering.
• 3+ years developing production software with modern languages (Java, Python, Go, Node.js, etc.).
• 1+ years developing containerised services deployed in production on orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Mesos, Swarm.
• 3+ years experience with agile and lean software development philosophies.
• 1+ years working with relational and/or non‑relational databases (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, Elasticsearch).
• 2+ years experience with modern version control systems such as Git, Subversion, Mercurial.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree; or equivalent industry experience.
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance required.

• MS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent.
