AI Full Stack Developer; Python​/Azure

Overview / Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an AI
Full Stack Developer to support the development and deployment of cloud-native applications and AI services within Microsoft Azure
. This role requires deep expertise in Python development within Azure services, foundational web UI development skills, and hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub and Git Hub Actions. Ideal candidate will have experience developing scalable backend systems, integrating with Azure‑native services, and deploying AI-driven applications. While the core focus is on Python and Azure
, we prefer full stack developers who can support both backend and lightweight UI/UX development when needed.

Currently 5 days per week on‑site in Arlington VA

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native Python applications on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain Azure components.
• Develop basic UI components to support backend services using HTML, CSS, Java Script , or front-end frameworks like React or Vue
  .
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions for automated testing, builds, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and infrastructure teams to maintain secure, scalable, and compliant deployment environments.
• Integrate Python
  -based applications with AI/ML services, such as Azure Cognitive Services
  , Azure ML
  , or external APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows secure development practices and industry standards.
• Participate in peer code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of deployed applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of relevant experience, or a total of 9 years of applicable professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Extensive experience in developing applications using Python on the Azure platform
  .
• Experience with CI/CD development and deployment pipelines, especially using Git Hub Actions.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON
  , and secure API design patterns
  .
• Basic proficiency in frontend development (HTML/CSS/JS), with the ability to create simple UIs to support app workflows.
• Proficient with Git and Git Hub workflows
  , including branching, PRs, and repo management. Familiarity with secure coding practices, Dev Sec Ops  principles, and Azure security (RBAC, managed identities, secrets).
• Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance (Requirements
  1. Proof of US Citizenship, 2. Favorable Background Investigation).

• Experience with full stack development, including frontend frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Exposure to AI/ML tools and services, such as Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services, or LLM/GenAI APIs.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and infrastructure-as-code (Bicep/Terraform).
• Familiarity with logging/monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
• Knowledge of Python-based frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
