The Test Automation Developer - UI/UX responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and user experience of software applications' user interfaces.

This role requires strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript, proficiency with UI automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright, and deep collaboration with developers and product teams to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle and ensure high-quality user interfaces.

This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable in the area. Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Develop and Maintain Test Automation Frameworks:
Design, build, and enhance automated test frameworks and scripts for UI and API testing.
• Create Test Scripts:
Write and adapt automated test scripts for web and mobile applications, focusing on user interface functionality and user experience.
• Integrate into CI/CD Pipelines:
Implement and maintain automated tests within continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support frequent and reliable software releases.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Test Environment Management:
Create and manage necessary test data and environments for effective testing.
• Analyze Test Results and Reporting:
Execute automated tests, analyze the results, and report findings to identify and resolve issues early in the development cycle.
• Troubleshoot and Optimize:
Identify and troubleshoot issues within automation scripts and the testing infrastructure to improve performance and coverage. Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Journeyman:

• Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience

• Security Clearance: TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly

• Programming

Languages:

Python, Java, JavaScript.

• UI Automation Tools:
Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.

• Testing Frameworks:
Cucumber, TestNG.

• API Testing Tools:
Postman, SOAP UI.

• CI/CD Tools:
Jenkins, Git.

• Version Control:
