• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior engineers to gather, document, and analyze technical and functional requirements for new and existing software projects.
• Support the design of system architecture, workflows, and software solutions that align with project goals and government directives.
• Contribute to research, development, and integration of AI/ML-enabled solutions, including data analysis, algorithm design, and system integration.
• Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software components and applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Create and maintain accurate system and process documentation to ensure compliance with quality and security standards.
• Work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, government stakeholders, and senior technical personnel. Onsite work at the Pentagon will be required periodically to meet mission needs.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and methodologies in software development, AI, and ML. Apply innovations to drive program effectiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree or 0 years related experience; 4 years of experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge or experience in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
• Interest in or experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work onsite at the Pentagon as needed, based on project demands.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Clearance Candidate must have an active Secret clearance.
