Software Engineer – Frontend

Job Description: Designing, building, and maintaining a high-performance graphics rendering and editing system for the browser in C++ using tools like Web Assembly and WebGL. Extending a modern web user-interface using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Type Script, and React.

• Work with a team of designers and other engineers to design and implement the user interface for new features in a web application.
• Create UI components using standard web technologies and frameworks (e.g. HTML, CSS, JS, React).
• Build tools using C++ and Web Assembly that enable high-performance rendering in the browser and integrate them with an existing web application.
• Communicate with backend developers to integrate and synchronize API endpoints with frontend features.
• Ensure performance and stability of the web application across various browsers and platforms.

• 2+ years of frontend web development experience in a professional environment.
• 2+ years of object-oriented programming experience with a language like C++, C#, or Rust.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of modern web development technologies and frameworks.
• A passion for user-interface development of any kind.

• Experience with Web Assembly.
• Experience working with graphical editors.
• Knowledge of WebGL/OpenGL.
• Knowledge of shader programming (GLSL, HLSL).
• Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture specific to web applications.
