Machine Learning Engineer, Prime Video Ads CX

As a Machine Learning Engineer on the Prime Video Ads CX team, you will help personalize the ads experience for customers on Prime Video. The role focuses on applying machine learning to balance customer satisfaction and engagement with monetization goals, using large-scale customer data.

The PV Ads CX team is responsible for tailoring the Ads experience for individual customers on Prime Video. You will develop machine learning-based solutions that use millions of customers' data to understand behavior and business needs, with the objective of improving customer experience through more relevant ad delivery.

• Work closely with Scientists to build machine learning-based solutions for the Ads Customer Experience on Prime Video.
• Create systems that process massive datasets, scale machine learning models, and define and optimize criteria tied to customer experience outcomes.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and take ownership of key efforts by managing a team of developers.
• Mentor engineers on the team.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems, including design patterns and reliability and scaling.
• Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Experience with video ad serving and ad delivery.

You will apply machine learning to customize the Ads experience, contributing to efforts that aim to delight customers. The role involves working with large-scale customer data to build and maintain models, and developing highly available, mission-critical systems. A successful candidate will have a strong machine learning foundation, experience with big data and neural network models, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
