Job Description & How to Apply Below
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and scientists to build and improve features across our full stack: front-end experiences built with modern web frameworks, and backend services that power multi-agent AI systems. You'll participate in the full software development lifecycle (scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support) and iterate based on real user feedback in a team that values speed and learning.
We're looking for someone who has hands-on experience with AI on both sides: using AI-powered tools to write and improve code, and building systems that leverage AI to solve customer problems. You should be comfortable working with large language models, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation, whether that means integrating AI capabilities into applications or using AI to accelerate your own development workflow.
This dual fluency (using AI and building with AI) is core to how our team works.
The team operates with startup-like autonomy, ships often, and learns from users. You'll lead the team through hands-on generative AI application development you're a strong software engineer who is excited about leading teams to build AI-powered products that change how Amazon builds products, we want to hear from you.

- Partner closely with Applied Science to apply best practices for building generative AI applications, including prompt engineering, retrieval systems, and agent-based architectures
- Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement
