Warehouse Shipping & Receiving

Newell Corporation is currently hiring a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our growing team in Arlington, WA.

What You’ll Do:

As a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials, parts, and finished goods. This role supports production by maintaining inventory accuracy, preparing shipments, and verifying incoming deliveries in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist Responsibilities:

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy
• Prepare reports detailing errors, shortages, damages and defects
• Calculate amounts, such as space available, shipping, storage, or demurrage charges, using computer or price list
• Correspond with vendors and customer representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications
• Operate equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks, in loading, unloading, moving, or storing materials as required
• Unload deliveries safely and organize materials in designated storage areas
• Prepare and kit materials for machining, welding, and assembly processes
• Prepare, package, label, and load outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and company standards
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in shipping &receivingor warehouse operations; manufacturing experience a plus
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and shipping software (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• Pay Range: $20-$26 per hour
