As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Arlington, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond in a calm, problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that may arise within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor the environment for unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to provide assistance and information as needed.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site representatives to address security-related concerns in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
