** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and utility customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public responders when directed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.

+ Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
