Management Accountant

Management Accountant (12 month FTC maternity cover) An established and growing engineering business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, commercially minded accountant to take ownership of key financial reporting activities and play an important role in supporting the wider business.

The Role Reporting to senior finance management, you will be responsible for a broad range of management accounting activities, including:
Preparation of monthly Group Management Accounts KPI reporting and contribution to monthly Board reporting Balance sheet, bank and supplier reconciliations Budgeting, forecasting and business planning Preparation of statutory returns and annual audit files Financial analysis, cost control and process improvement Supporting and developing junior members of the finance team About You You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with previous management accounting experience.

Experience with in engineering, construction or a related project-based environment would be particularly advantageous. You will have strong analytical and commercial skills, advanced Excel capability and experience working with accounting/ERP systems.
