Customer Service Adviser – Branch Network Northern Ireland South East area

Join us as a Customer Service Adviser at Danske Bank, working across our branches in Newry, Armagh, Dungannon, Magherafelt, Omagh, Enniskillen and Irvinestown.

Your Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

You will:

  • Handle day‑to‑day banking queries for personal and business customers.
  • Assist with digital banking questions and support the transition to new platforms.
  • Open new accounts and provide information on new products and services.
  • Manage customer meetings, make outreach calls, and respond to secure emails.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that aligns with Danske Bank’s high standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Customer service experience, preferably from retail, hospitality or another customer‑facing role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills.
  • A hunger to learn, adapt quickly and take initiative.
  • No banking experience required – just a drive to make a positive impact.
Hours & Work Flexibility

Branch hours: 9:00 – 17:00 Mon‑Fri;
Saturday 9:45 – 15:15 (for those living within 25 miles of the branch locations). Staff work a maximum of 1 day in 7 and receive a full day off in lieu. Part‑time work (minimum 21 hours) is considered.

  • Starting salary of £23,500.
  • 22 days leave plus 10 bank holidays.
