Overview

We are looking for a passionate and committed Nursery Nurse to join our thriving nursery for two, three and four year olds, which opened in January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, newly established provision and play a key role in shaping the very beginning of each child's educational journey.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging learning activities tailored to the needs of young children
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with a key group of children and their parents/carers
  • Observe and assess children's development, contributing to EYFS profiles and learning records
  • Support children with SEN and ensure inclusive practice across the nursery
  • Promote language development, independence, confidence and personal care skills
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating and welcoming nursery setting, both indoors and outdoors
  • Work closely with colleagues and external professionals to support each child's progress
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working with children aged 2‑5 in a school or daycare setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, observation and assessment
  • A caring, professional and proactive approach to supporting young learners
  • Confidence working as part of a team and liaising with families and professionals
  • A genuine passion for early years education and a belief in every child's potential
