About Your New Job as Mechanical Design Engineer

Design and develop mechanical building services solutions from concept to installation.
Produce mechanical designs, calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Develop coordinated drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and BIM processes.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, suppliers and clients.
Participate in design reviews, technical workshops and project meetings.
Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, BS EN Standards and CIBSE guidance.
Provide technical support during construction, commissioning and project handover.
Undertake site visits as required to support project delivery.

What Skills You Need as Design Engineer

Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Previous experience in a Mechanical Design Engineer, Design Engineer or Product Design role
Strong understanding of HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and public health systems.
Knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations and CIBSE guidance.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering calculation software.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Competent in Microsoft Office and digital project collaboration tools.
