Bawnbua Foods is one of Northern Ireland’s leading food businesses, established in 1985 and supplying major retail, food service and food-manufacturing partners across the UK and Ireland. From our production base in NI, we deliver a wide range of primal, value-added and cooked meat products with a strong focus on quality, consistency and service.

We’re now looking for a Management Accountant to join our team.

This is a key role within our Finance Team, reporting directly to the Financial Director. You’ll be involved in the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business, producing accurate monthly management accounts, strengthening internal controls, and supporting continuous improvement across the function. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, accountability, and being close to operational decision‑making.

• Managing daily financial operations
• Preparing accurate monthly management accounts
• Supporting and developing finance team members
• Working closely with external partners, including auditors
• Driving process improvements and enhancing reporting quality
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and ad‑hoc financial analysis
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies

• Experience in a management accounting or similar finance role
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability
• Strong IT skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
• A proactive, flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• FMCG experience is desirable, but not essential
